Level 4 Installation Technician
Highly experienced ISP Telecom Installation Technicians are required for national level travel. Candidates with strong DWDM products installation experience are required. Ciena 6500 products install experience is a plus. All candidates must be available for Road Warrior level /100 percent travel.
Level 3 Central Office Installation Technicians
The Level 3 Installer will be required to perform all intermediate and advanced installation work activities. The Level 3 installer will report directly to an Installation Technician Level 4 or above around these activities. The Installer should have a clear understanding of Installation and Quality Standards set forth by CBMA and CBMA’s customers. All candidates must be available for 100% travel.
Installation Supervisor (Central Office experienced)
Responsible for providing CBMA representation in relation to critical installation opportunities in various critical facility environments. Will assist in the development and implementation of new procedures for special projects and will be the liaison between engineering/warehousing and installation services. This person will report directly to the Manager of Installation Services.
Candidates with Telecom Central Office facilities experience are required.
Level 4 - Lead Installation Technician
CBMA is seeking a Level 4 Installer with Central Office experience for a full time opportunity with our team. The team is seeking candidates that reside in the Westborough, MA area. All candidates must be willing to perform 75 percent national travel when required.
Senior Detail Engineer
This is a second level position in the engineering department. The engineer in this positions acts as a mentor to the detail engineer. He or she has more experience engineering/installing telecommunications equipment. Will typically take on the more complex work and pull all aspects of a job together into a cohesive package
High School diploma is necessary. Some college or technical school a plus. At least 3 years engineering experience or equivalent field experience.
An advanced understanding of various software packages including MS Word, spreadsheet/database programs such as MS Excel, MS Access
Ability to quickly learn customer engineering databases and software.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities and must be able to consistently work under and meet strict deadlines.
Must possess good leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, including technical specifications, white papers, central office drawings and documents. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to write engineering specifications.
This is a supervisor-level position in the engineering department. The engineering supervisor is responsible for assigning and managing staff workload; monitoring progress; acting as a customer single-point-of-contact, ensuring complete, accurate, and on-time deliverables; and participating in production-level efforts when necessary.
