Female DB37 to male DB25. Line powered RS449/530 to RS232 converter allowing an RS449/530 device to connect to an RS232 device.
CBM of America’s ADP-RS530-25/37 is a single port adapter connecting RS449 and RS232 circuits. The adapter has a female DB-37 connector at the RS449 port, accepting a cable from a DTE device, and a male DB-25 connector at the RS232 port, accepting a cable from a DCE device which will supply clock to the circuit. Although it is an active device it derives power from the serial ports themselves and requires no fuse assignment.
